Role description:
An integral part of the PolyVista market approach and
operational strategy is the utilization of an elite team
of Practice Leaders. This will be a professional with
extensive experience and qualifications in the pharmaceutical
sector. The Practice Leader - Pharmaceutical Industry
will be responsible for the customization of the PolyVista
product line to the needs of the pharmaceutical industry.
He/She will also be responsible for the creation and management
of the P&L to this industry sector.
The Practice Leader will have the comprehensive responsibility
of:
Managing
the P&L of the practice
Developing
industry recognized thought leadership
Developing
and positioning the solutions within the practice
Sales
and selling support
He/she will have the responsibility for the development
of a practice plan and achieving or exceeding the planned
practice profit contribution. The Practice Leader will
also work with the sales and delivery organizations to
assure that service and solution methodologies are in
place to make certain the highest quality solutions are
provided to the client.
Detailed qualifications:
Demonstrated
expertise and subject matter command of the pharmaceutical
industry
Develop
plans and implement actions necessary to achieve targeted
revenue, backlog & pipeline
Capacity
to succeed in a small fast growing entrepreneurial environment
with emphasis on team success
Extensive
knowledge of the business intelligence market
7-10
years of progressive experience business and managing
a business unit or department
Have
sold or purchased business intelligence solutions with
a market leader - either a software provider or a systems
integrator/consultancy
Sales,
selling and/or operational experience in or into the pharmaceutical
industry
Excellent
leadership, interpersonal and communication skills

sales for PolyVista within the customer service arena.
Typical customers will include senior managers of call/contact
centers, customer service analysts and CRM. The PolyVista
Sales Manager will need to open doors with buying customers,
and manage the sales process. He/She will manage day-to-day
of sales, sales support, and administrative staff. Delivers
timely and accurate sales forecasts to management.
Required Qualifications:
At least
5 years of experience in business intelligence software
sales
Established
network of buyers within the customer
service/CRM arena
Demonstrated
experience in successfully achieving a sales target
Bachelor's
degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science,
or quantitative field.
Demonstrated

Key Responsibilities of a Business Development Associate include:

Executive Prospecting: Identify specific executives and management that should be targeted for marketing initiatives & relationship building
Marketing: Contact the targeted executives via phone and email in order to generate demand
Sales Support: Arrange introductory sales meetings between our outside sales team and prospective clients
Leadership: Coach and mentor new Business Development Associates
