Practice Leader - Pharmaceutical Industry
Role description:
An integral part of the PolyVista market approach and operational strategy is the utilization of an elite team of Practice Leaders. This will be a professional with extensive experience and qualifications in the pharmaceutical sector. The Practice Leader - Pharmaceutical Industry will be responsible for the customization of the PolyVista product line to the needs of the pharmaceutical industry. He/She will also be responsible for the creation and management of the P&L to this industry sector.

The Practice Leader will have the comprehensive responsibility of:
Managing the P&L of the practice
Developing industry recognized thought leadership
Developing and positioning the solutions within the practice
Sales and selling support

He/she will have the responsibility for the development of a practice plan and achieving or exceeding the planned practice profit contribution. The Practice Leader will also work with the sales and delivery organizations to assure that service and solution methodologies are in place to make certain the highest quality solutions are provided to the client.

Detailed qualifications:
Demonstrated expertise and subject matter command of the pharmaceutical industry
Develop plans and implement actions necessary to achieve targeted revenue, backlog & pipeline
Capacity to succeed in a small fast growing entrepreneurial environment with emphasis on team success
Extensive knowledge of the business intelligence market
7-10 years of progressive experience business and managing a business unit or department
Have sold or purchased business intelligence solutions with a market leader - either a software provider or a systems integrator/consultancy
Sales, selling and/or operational experience in or into the pharmaceutical industry
Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills

Typical customers will include senior managers of call/contact centers, customer service analysts and CRM. The PolyVista Sales Manager will need to open doors with buying customers, and manage the sales process. He/She will manage day-to-day of sales, sales support, and administrative staff. Delivers timely and accurate sales forecasts to management.

Required Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience in business intelligence software sales
Established network of buyers within the customer service/CRM arena
Demonstrated experience in successfully achieving a sales target
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketin
g, Computer Science, or quantitative field.
Demonstrated understanding of strategic sales techniques and principles specifically in the hardware and software industry

Sales Lead Representative
Basic Functions:
The Sales Lead Representative will be responsible for setting up appointments for PolyVista'a sales teams and account managers. The SLR will position PolyVista's products and services to key decision-makers, with the goal of scheduling presentations/product demonstrations for the field staff.

Responsibilities, included but not limited to:

Conduct business development through lead generation and qualification as directed by the sales channels. Identify technical requirements, buying influences, and project scope for departmental and enterprise Business Intelligence software implementations.
Work closely with PolyVista Sales and Account Executives in developing and managing these opportunities, contributing through the duration of the sales cycle.
Provide daily/weekly updates to VP of Sales on individual activity.

Requirements of the position:

Bachelor's degree
1-4 years inside sales/business development/telesales experience required
Strong telephone and prospecting (cold-calling) skills (50-60 calls per day)
Understanding of high tech industry
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Willing to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
Goal-oriented, highly confident, self-motivated
Adaptable to new challenges
